Patrick Haede is the CEO at Mapify, a Berlin-based travel company he co-founded in 2016. He studied law at Bucerius Law School in Hamburg during which he spent 6 months working for the Stanford CodeX Center for Legal Technology. Before quitting university and working full-time for Mapify, he spent half a year studying Computer Science at MIT in Boston.
Founded in December 2016 and based in Berlin, Mapify is social travel platform for people to visualize, find and plan travel experiences. By developing a website and app which launched in November 2017, the company has attracted users worldwide to share trips and spots in more than 190 countries and has continuously been trending on several country App Stores worldwide. The company has raised $1.4M from MIT’s Sandbox Innovation Fund and renowned US and European investors.
